This is our 1st day of rain on the East coast for weeks !
We're not on a hose pipe ban like they are down in the south of the UK but if we don't get much rain, then it's going to happen.
I take my dog out in the rain, she prefers it a bit cold but when we get back, I have to wash her down a bit in the garden because the paths are filthy through lack of rain, so when we do get ,there's not enough to wash off the paths.
Where I live the water is hard, so I don't water my trees with tap water.
But apart from that I like the rain ( purely selfishly for my trees
)
So on a rainy day I scrub the dog, do ironing
& keep look round at things to do on Pc
