At a raffle in April we won a San Jose juniper styled by Marco Invernizzi. We are in love with the tree. Over the weekend we had a great time at the ABS conference. Unfortunatly when we came back there were little piles of sawdust on the tree.

We believe the damage is from bark beetles. The tree was sprayed with a weak solution of Sevin, mostly on the bark. Online I found info. saying that bark beetles attack trees with damage and to remove the damaged parts. The problem is that the whole tree is "damaged" with the extensive deadwood.

Any ideas, similar experiences??
