Ok as I am trying to slowly get my feet wet in bonsai, I am ready to start my planning stage for my ultimate tree...Literati style. I'm interested in the best species for this style (conifer only) and what are some early things I can do to begin preping for this. Such as are there any species I should buy and plant in my yard now. I really like this style so I am in no hurry to get a tree in a bonsai pot yet. I'm hoping the boxwood holly and mugo pine I have will give me some good practice.Please point me to any webpages or threads that may help. You guys have been a great help so far. And I love pics to, it seems hard to find great pics of the bunjin.
