It would not hurt to add a grow light. In the absence of light, growth tends to become long and thin, with a lot of space between the internodes. It also tends to be pale green, but that can occur for a variety of reasons.

You could certainly add a growlight. Set it on a 24 hour timer for about 12 hours of light, and get it as close to the plant as you can without generating a lot of heat.

The problem sounds like overwatering to me, but of course, I can't be sure.
