Juniper witches brooms
Hi, folks. I just moved with my family to our beautiful new home in Hot Springs, SD. I have a cliff behind my house that is mostly covered with juniper trees, many of which have "witches brooms", or yatsubusa. Anyone out there have experience collecting juniper yatsubusa from the wild? Any different from standard air layering? It's a very tempting prospect, but I want to do a good job of it, to give the resulting trees the best start.
