My name is Brian, and I'm a bonsaiholic. I'm a little further down the recovery road than you, having given away about 150 plants.....I must admit I was forced to give them away as part of our move, and (shhhhhh) I'm secretly taking cuttings again.

Now that I'm in San Diego county, I'd love to stop by to meet you and see your trees. I'm afraid my wife won't let me take any home. I could bring you a couple though?
