Zelkova Serrata
Well, I just went to the local nursery on my lunch hour. I bought a Tree priced for 40 dollars for 10 dollars. what a deal. It was in amongst some really tall trees of the same king, Zelkova. I looked at the guy and said "This thing is beat to hell! What kind of discount can I get." $$$$$10.00 What a deal. CHACHING!!!
Leaves look a lot like Elms.
It was a lot shorter, had grass and weeds growing in it, but looks healthy. I'll post pics later.
Does anyone know a lot about these trees: characteristics, growth habits, backbudding, ramification, nebari, etc.?
Knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
