hi soltan, it will depend alot on the species as to wether they will survive in water. if it is growing near water then it would be safe to assume it is water tolerant, eg eucalyptus camaldulensis ( river red gum ).

fire can kill large eucys, despite the lignotuber. possible reason for lack of other mature specimens.

lack of mature leaves also makes this one hard to i.d.
