hello everyone. yesterday i purchased a bottle of Schultz insect spray to get rid of a insect problem that i have had in some of my trees soil. many of them have been having larva infestations by fruit flies but i am not sure exactly what type of fly.

i have purchased this type because it is safer than other chemical insecticides
and may be more powerfull than neem oil which i already tried before without success.

pyrethrin......... .02%
piperonyl......... .20%
other ingredients.....99.78%

will it hurt the tree if i spray the surface of the soil and is this a good insectide?
have you used it and how did it work for you?
