It has been raining here, but we've also had some drier, cooler, windy weather too, which dries things out pretty quickly. We're not getting inundated. We're just getting some rain.

Too bad you're not in town this weekend. It's the Potomac Bonsai Association's annual show and sale Friday, Sat and Sun at the National Arboretum. The best bonsai (and penjing) event of the year. Send your parents to it to pick something up for you (pots, tools, penjing trays, rocks, plants, and other stuff from mor than a dozen bonsai vendors. Clubs from all over the metro area will have trees on exhibit...not to mention the demos and workshops.
