"There's no place like home..."
Just a little update. I've been gone for about a week now, I went off to Kansas with my friends to visit their grandparents. They do it every year to stay in touch. So it's a 26 hour drive from Fairfax Virginia all the way to Ellis Kansas. I'm actually still in Kansas. I am really relaly really excited to see if my trees have grown any since I have been gone. I call home and recived news that it is raining almost 24/7 since the last week. I heard that the east coast is getting soaked and the central part of the US is basically in a drought. It being 90+ degrees and dry as hell here makes me really worried about my trees. Even though I got reassurance from my mom that the trees are being watered, I am still scared because I havent see my "kids" since last tuesday. Apparently not alot of people ot here cultivate Pan-Jing. Its heard of but not hasn't relaly caught on. I was really hoping to come out here and see if I could get a trees or so. But sadly tere are no plant shops here and the closest one is on I-70 290 miles west and they said they sell a "few" trees which means I don't want to waste my time. Anyway, I love it here, very quite and very close knit. Ellis is home to Walter Chryster, the guy who founded the Chrystler car, and the town has one red light. This place is like soo flat.......I will be heading home on monday and hopefully get home by tuesday. I'm going to miss this place a great deal, the quiteness and the concept that everything is simple...
