While we are on the subject of mental images, and the scary truth, I just have to share this.....LOL
I used to work in reservations at this vacation rental condominium when I used to live on Maui, and I used to talk to all sorts of travel agents and direct customers. Well, there was this one travel agent that booked us quite often and she was the most gracious person over the phone, sweet voice always cheery and we got to talking on a friendlier level every time she would call.
She then told me that she was coming to Maui to do a site inspection trip of all the properties that she booked.
That day came when she arrived and I heard that sweet, cheery, encouraging, voice like an angel at the front desk. I dashed to the front desk and realized that the only problem was that if she really was an angel, her wings would not be able to to carry her 325 lb. body!..........OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!.........Scarred for life........My boss MADE me entertain her for lunch.........
..........and till today I thank God daily for my wife!
Moral of the story?
Mental images are simply your mind setting you up for something it doesn't even know about.
I hope my pain has brought you some joy today.
