You couldn't possible be describing to more dissimilar trees. Hackberry is a temperate tree and must be grown outdoors. This tree you can do almost anything with it almost anytime you want to do it. The Fukien Tea on the other hand is tropical and must be grown indoors or in the tropics. It is fussy and sensitive and easily destroyed. I am no where near an expert on Funkien Tea, I don't grow many tropicals so I will not advise you on this tree. The Hackberry is capable of taking all you can throw at it as long as it is growing.
