Thats kind of what I was thinking, so that the apex would, in a couple years, acquire an abrupt taper, but not be too thick, giving it a look like since it has grown higher, the stronger wind has beat the living cr@p out of it.
About the full cascade, I don't know if I see that vision. Do you mean a windswept full cascade? Maybe one of yall could do a virtual to show me what you had in mind. I'm real picky about cascades. I think a lot of them look forced and unnatural.
BTW, there is actually a branch coming out of the back from the curve directly to the right of the first apparent branch. Its just blocked out by the brnach, and my attempt to clean up the foliage lines in that poor picture. The Florida mid-day sun is a pain to shoot pictures in.
