Here are some pics off repoting my "Palmatum" , They show the importance off creating a good roots system, right from the first time you work on the roots! Now i only have to cut off a part off roots, witch mostly consist out off small feeder roots. With a little help from a shop-stick, it is very easy to shake out most off the old soil. Cut off all the roots that grow down on the underside off the bonsai, clean off some off the top soil near the base of the trunk with some water and work and rearrange the root base a little . Make a little mound off soil in the pot, twist the bonsai with a little pressure down on this pile off soil, anchor it with some wire and finished! All don in 20 min, with out much stress for the bonsai and me.
