I have a young False Cypress that I think will eventually make a nice tree. Right now it's 6 inches tall with 2 trunks that just came from the nearby nursery. I am going to move it into a 1 gal container so that it can really take off here in the California spring.
Here's my question...The label reads Chamaecyparis lawsoniana "Golden Surprise". I can find a lot of info about raising a False Cypress, but I can find anything referring to a Golden Surprise
Is this a good tree to bonzai?
