Well, I am happy to say that my bonsai has started to recover! Only one small branch is brown and all the foliage has returned to a healthy colour! What really helped it was changing my houseplant mentality towards it to trying to emulate the natural conditions of a Juniper.
I did quite a bit of pruning today (it is warming up) and am starting to fertilize it, so maybe my first bonsai won't die just yet
