For the past two years I've had a toad living amongst my trees on the patio. I'm sure she will make a reappearance this springtime. They do make excellent defenders from unwanted pests, as do ladybirds (ladybugs) on aphids and spiders on just about everything else - although spiders can be a pain then they start wiring soft branches/twigs into different positions lol.
All the best,
Aaron
