Earl, i agree it was a great idea and i dont think im a 'purist' at all. The Germans did it very very well in most cases (not the maple with the orange background, you just lost the tree to the painting) but this display was just awful. Im sure each item was lovely on its own but in the way they were combined...ergh (Except the juniper raft/group, i cant recall, that was not so good IMO)
