What's the worst that can happen?

Yesterday was the fourth demonstration I have ever done. I don't think it is getting any easier, but as long as people will stand there and watch me I guess I will keep trying. It helps when the audience has no clue of what a bonsai even is - this group was the Redding Newcomers Club and was demo for the gardening group. It didn't help that a major storm was sweeping through northern California. We managed to do the root pruning outside but had to run indoors for the final repot.

My demo tree was a lowfast cotoneaster. I had let it grow from a cheap one gallon nursery pot until it was about three feet wide and a foot tall. The finished tree is 4 1/2 inches tall.

I am sweating bullets over the demonstration for our club show at the end of April and plan to post a pic of the juniper raft I am supposed to wrestle with for your consideration once the weather calms down.
