I agree with earl about the rocks.
Cypress are native to wetlands and there arent many rocks in the swamps around here. I would suggest that look at a few pictures of swamps and marshes and try to draw some insperation from them.

I would also thin out the lower extremities of the taller trees to bring out their height and show differentation from the larger and smaller ones.

I am far from an expert so this is from an amatures point of view.
