Re: Juniper Bonsai drying up
I too have an extremely dried out juniper that was bought for me as a Christmas gift from a nursery that doesn't really specialize in bonzai. In an attempt to save this sad little tree I immursed it in water for half an hour. After this time I let the excess water drip out and placed it in a clear plastic bag with chopsticks holding the bag away from the foliage. I then put it in a VERY sunny spot in my house. I'm not sure yet if this method will work, but it's worth a try. As soon as I see new growth on the tree, i'll remove it from the bag and put it outsie. I hope this will work!
