Be careful with this "white oil", this is a kind of mineral oil?
You have reason, garlic oil is used in alternative control of aphids.
Be careful too with pyrithrum.

My research project to get rid of aphids went like this. I drove to the hardware shop, got a can of white oil and some garlic and pyrithrum spray, drove home and killed the aphids.
The packaging said 'kills aphids' and it actually did. I suggest this.
