hi vance,
the roots looked like roots, they wern't black and soggy and all that, like i have read in some post about root rot, and it did not smell of sewage, the soild was pretty moist when i repotted it . I do not mind answering any question if it will help my tree, i have only had this plant for about a year so it is still in training, but it has fast became one of my favorites because of the delicate leafs.
