I am so new, I have yet to attend my first 'free' (normally $45 each) workshop. The first one is free to all new members. From what I can gather, they are actual hands-on type workshops for intermediate to advanced. Last month it was Ben Oki. Since I only went to the Sunday regular meeting, I only saw him work two trees from stock into bonsai. After the demonstration, the trees were auctioned off. This month, I plan on attending the workshop by Kenji Miyata on Fed. 25.
