I have tried oxiding under the crackle but it changes the look of the entire glaze. I have thought of applying oxide after and then refiring to about 500 to stabilize, not sure if is worth the effor though. I use Indian Ink and ith weathers pretty well.

Is the glaze running? I will try and dig out a glaze recipe for you and send to you to see if that works.
