This material looks perfect for a bunjin-style tree. I'd be interested in seeing the trunk from the opposite side, but as you've styled it, it looks like it would go great in a half-moon pot or perhaps a rough, handmade container.

Plucking some of the foliage from the trunk and base of branches would help define the design and create a cleaner, literati look.
