I've been trying to find good info on care and pruning of Japanese Black Pines, but most of what I read doesn't have step by step diagrams. Candle pruning is described, but there has been little attention given to the older needles and branch structure. I've seen finished trees pictured, but nothing showing the actual tree in stages of training. Anyone know of any good books or web sites with more detailed info?
