hi Thomas J.,

I read your article and saw where you let the seed cone sit in water for a few months....what I do is just break it open once it falls from the tree and separate the seeds , which then get scattered in a bucket of wet sand....they could be pressed in a little, just want to make sure they stay wet and warm....the best time for this is just before spring down here in the south when the March temps have started warming the air....a very informative article by the way.
