Hi David,

I think its a pfitzer juniper but I'm not 100% sure on that.

As for working it inside, a day or 2 inside isn't likely to bring a plant out of dormancy but as a thorough wiring can be stressful it will be spending the rest of the winter in my unheated shed. However I must admit it doesn't get too cold here currently in the 50s through the day and it very rarely goes below 20 at night.
