Thanks for your help,since this thread was created I have just broke down and bought a new camera.Kinda sucks since the one I was using is only a few months old,when I had purchased it I didn't know how to shop for a camera and overlooked things like optical focus.But it's all worked out now and I can take nice pictures of mame sized trees.Thanks again.
