When I run out of things to do with my bonsai and other hobbies, I just walk around to all my larger trees and take some cuttings. Preparing the soil, watering, putting the rooting hormones on, etc etc.. all takes quite a bit of time.
Of course I'm running out of backyard space.. I started with 2 willow cuttings a month ago, and an azalia, and now I'm up to about 30 willows and 30 azalia cuttings, plus misc other plants I keep buying at the local nurseries.
You know you're addicted when a major factor in choosing where to live is now how much yard space you will have.
