In my view it is not without interest, but without knowing the species (and therefore not knowing the characteristics of the plant), I'd be unwilling to take a flyer on it. Descrimination differentiates the collector from the artist.

Edit: Oh, JB, where in Texas are you? I'd be interested in checking out that nursery myself if it is within driving distance of where I am. I'm not aware of many nurseries that have a reliable bonsai culture where I live. I'd also be real surprised if that was only $20. Whether a good OR bad tree, anything in a bonsai pot that I've seen seems to take the price up to $40 or more. Like the pot or the word bonsai makes it exotic or something.
