What Andrew means is to please go into your UserCP and fill in your location, USDA growing and heat zones. That way people can help you better.
Overpotting something can sometimes be a problem. A pot that is too big can hold moisture for too long, and cause root rot if your soil isn't free draining. Choose a pot for them that gives them only a little more space then you think they will need, that is probably the best way.
