{SNIP}You are correct, it looks like a corragated box but it is somewhat stiffer than that. And I don't really have to worry too much about a lot of snow in these parts.
(Although we did get 13 inches here back in '81, or was it '82?) But I believe that the angle of the roof and the slickness of the plastic would help in the shedding of moderate snow load.
