Fall BONSAI colors

I saw a thread on fall TREE colors but don't remember seeing anything on strictly bonsai colors. How about starting one. If there was one, and I missed it, sorry. Maybe Matt can just move this there.
Here in the US this year some areas seem to have had great fall colors and some not. Although my local trees looked great many of the bonsai were un-impressive. The tridents, zelkova, hornbeams were "blah" up until the leaves all fell off. Most of the J. maples bonsai were nothing to spectacular this year. The large "BloodgoodMaples" were outstanding but still in work-up stage in large nursery containers. They turned overnight one night. Amazing!
The Ginkgos were there usual pretty selves but I showed some last year.
Here's the only J. Maple that actually looked pretty good.
Lets see some other folks' trees.
