Looks to be made of mahogany. Very nicly done I might add too! This might be a good pot to use as an indoor subject, but prolonged outdoor use coupled with water would pose a quick demise to the wood. Mahogany although used extensivly for marine application, is usually coated with fiberglass or epoxy. When exposed untreated to water it gets very slimy and starts to decompose rapidly. Might make an attractive display for an artificial tree though.
