There are pins for everything. Clubs, conventions and individuals. The most sought after ones Limited edition Japanese pins from the likes of Taikan-ten, and Japanese Masters.(=expensive) are probably not the ones we want for the purpose of the auction.
Some people make their own pins pretty much as an incentive for trading.
I think we want those colorful, interesting, inexpensive ones. But if you're a real horsetrader, (!) you can probably parley one great pin into a handful of good ones. Stay away with those guys with the velvet pin folios. They'll take your eyeteeth!
