Oh contraire mon freire
The habanero is a perennial flowering plant, meaning that with proper care and growing conditions, it can produce flowers, hence fruit, for several years.
In tropical and sub-tropical regions (my house), the Habanero, like other chiles, will produce year round. As long as conditions are favorable, the plant will set fruit continuously. I'll be eating cascade peppers all winter, hopefully. I had fun either way. That's why I got into Bonsai for fun, right?
