They came today! The eucalyptus is actually rather fun, it has strong roots and a lovely barky trunk. It will be a very unusual bonsai, with those round leaves and all, but it has a beautiful color and the contrast of the silvery green leaves with the reddish bark is very pleasant.

The big quince is REALLY big. It was obviously an air layer, all the roots are coming from the same place and span almost the entire trunk. It has great possibilities, and it's going to be such a treat to see the flowers in the spring!
