These guys are tough. The waxy coating they secrete resists a lot of chemicals.

You can try adding a drop of dishwashing soap as a wetting agent. I finally used isotox on mine and it seems to be working. Malathion didn't stick.

There are some wetting sticking agents you can get at Orchard supply that can help. Nasty pest!
