(shaking head) I really, truly don't understand why everyone's hackles are up about the title. Go to a bookstore or library.... titles are just that. Some of them say "The Complete..." and aren't, of course. Some say "Idiots Guide to..." and aren't. That's just the nature of titles. Go ahead and google, you'll see.

Anyone on this forum can compile a good list of links and name it what they like. But only Will did. Instead of criticizing and mocking, why not spend some time making an effort to contribute something of your own? Spend your time contributing, not deriding. We all gain when people put in an effort. Write an article, go out and do a photo essay..... call it something positive. So few people really contribute good work here. It all seems to fall to the same dozen or so, and it's very disheartening.

Yes, I just threw you all a challenge. Turn your energy into something positive and useful, and show us all how it can be done. Go out and take a photo of your best tree for TOD. Go do a nursery review. Write an article about your special technique or knowledge.

I'm off to the San Diego show, and when I come back I plan to contribute something that you can all enjoy and learn from. Heaven knows what, but there will be something good and positive to bring back to you all. Because it is so much better to build up than to tear down.
