Calling the threads "All There is to Know" seems no different than the title on many books, which aren't any more accurate. There are plenty of inaccuracies and misstatements in books, magazines, articles, and online. In fact, I would argue that having SO MANY links from so many different sources, with arguments back and forth, would be if anything more likely to be useful. If the person takes the time to read them all, he will get information from more than one person, and can also pick and choose what he agrees with or what suits his particular situation.
So many bonsai books are outdated, and have misleading information to start with. They are one person's opinion. One person's growing experience. One person's taste.
There is a series of books "Idiots Guide to...." and another "such and such for Dummies". There is a series of auto and motorcycle repair books called "The Complete Idiots Guide to...". No one buying them really believes that they are idiots or dummies, only that they are looking for basic information. And no one who looks at a book or thread called "All there is to know" really thinks that there is no more to learn...! And no other information...! It's just a good group of references, a place to start, especially for beginners who aren't going to go out and buy a bunch of expensive books for their one or two trees. Or for someone looking for a nugget of knowledge that their books don't contain.
