It would be easier to respond if we had more info. Your profile does not have any info in it so we do not know were you live or how much experiance you have.

First, what are your goals with the tree (are you happy with the current size)? Does it have rocks glued to the surface of the soil (sold as a bonsai or as a house plant)? If it has rocks glued to the surface than it is a mallsai and there is an article here (on this site, you can use the search function) on how to re-pot.

Also if your camera has a flash you can take pics at night, just do not have it close to anything in the background and it will turn out pretty good.
