well i dont remember exactly, but i think we planted it in May/June and its now September... so been a few months. This summer has been real hot one with little rain. I have a sprinkler system and I water 2-3 times a week for about 10 mins for the plant area.... should I water longer or more often or anything? the whole tree isnt even purple anymore and just looks ugly like you said....
