Takes me back to when I saw a large collection of bonsai all growing in Jam Tins, outback in Broken Hill.
Trust you've got it in light shade, also trust you pierced a hole or two in that there lid.
Request close-up detail pics of leaves and trunk for proper identification, doubt that it is an Azalea or Elm, maybe a Buxus.
