Make a small scratch on the trunk with your fingernail. If you see a little bit of green, your tree is still alive.

If that is the case, stop feeding it because you could hurt it worse. Keep the soil just slightly damp. It needs less water because it doesn't have leaves right now. Dappled sun would be better than inside. Can you put it under a tree or a piece of lattice or something? Even if it's hot, as long as there is shade it would probably be better for the tree.

Give it time. If you have seen green you need to be very patient with it. (The green in the scratch, by the way, will turn brown in a day or so, don't worry if it does)
