Thanks Joanie, I have added that to the suggestion list. As a work around for the time being, you can add the items you're bidding on to your "watch list" and then the info on the close date will appear in the table beneath.

You can watch an item by clicking on the Watch this item link in the auction detail page

Then it will appear on the list of auction items in the Bidding portion of your Member Area (together with the closing date)
