I have a question about display stands!
I see them in almost every picture of bonsai in refrence/art books!
My big delema is how can you water your trees and not ruin the finish
on these beautiflly finished and detailed stands?
The only thing I can think of is that you can't and don't!
But even if you let them drain after they are watered elsewhere,
then hand dry the pot bottom....there is still the humidity
that will be trapped under the pot as it breathes!
And I never see anything under the pots, to protect the stand?
So whats up with that?
