High temperatures are expected to reach the upper 90s to around
100 across much of southern South Carolina and southeast Georgia
on Wednesday. These hot temperatures will combine with continued
high humidity to create dangerous heat indices for much of Wednesday
afternoon and evening. Heat index values will push above 110
degrees in many locations by early afternoon... with values of 115
to 120 degrees likely in several spots by mid to late afternoon.
Along the coast... high temperatures in the lower to middle 90s
and high humidity will create heat index values of 105 to 110 for
several hours during the afternoon and evening.
